The National C Division Boys Final between St Hilda’s Secondary and Xinmin Secondary has just taken place at the same venue. St Hilda’s won the Championship in three straight sets.
The National C Division Girls Final between Ngee Ann Secondary (NAS) and Nanyang Girls’ High (NYG) has just started.
16:02h – NYG no.5 spikes and NAS fails to block. 1-1.
16:04h – NYG fails to save NAS’s spikes. 4-2 to NAS.
16:06h – NAS makes two consecutive points. 6-3 to NAS.
16:08h – NYG no.7 makes a spike to far-left corner. NYG takes over lead 9-7.
16:10h – NAS commits a few unforced errors. NYG leads 12-8.
16:12h – NAS catches up with a few good shots and with NYG’s errors. Levels 12-12.
16:14h – NAS regains lead 16-14.
16:15h – NAS spikes and NYG fails to save. NAS leads 18-14 and NYG calls for time-out.
16:17h – NYG serves ball into the net and turns possession over. NAS leads 21-15.
16:20h – NYG catches up 3 points with a few good moves near the net. NAS leads 22-18 and calls time-out.
16:22h – NAS pulls away to a 24-21 lead. NYG calls time-out.
16:23h – NAS wins first set 25-21.
16:26h – NAS takes quick 4-0 lead in the second set.
16:29h – NAS pulls away to a 8-2 lead.
16:31h – NAS starts committing a few errors, NYG capitalizes on it and cuts the trail to 8-9.
16:33h – NYG takes over the lead 10-9.
16:36h – NYG pulls away to a 15-12 lead.
16:42h – NAS levels the set at 20-20, NYG calls for time-out.
16:43h – NAS opens the gap 22-20, NYG calls another time-out.
16:45h – NYG levels the set at 22-22.
16:45h – NYG makes a net-service, catches NAS unaware and takes over lead 23-22.
16:47h – NAS levels the set at 24-24.
16:48h – NYG makes two good spikes and win the second set 26-24.
16:51h – NAS takes early lead in the third set at 4-1.
16:53h – NAS pulls away quickly to a 10-1 lead, NYG calls for a time-out.
16:55h – NYG no.5 makes two powerful spikes in a row, and boosts team moral at 10-3.
16:58h – NYG continues to commit errors, NAS pulls the lead to 16-5.
17:00h – NAS no.3 twists an ankle and sits out. NAS leads 18-7.
17:03h – NAS pulls away to a 21-8 lead, NYG calls for another time-out.
17:08h – NAS goes to set-point at 24-18.
17:09h – NAS wins the third set 25-18 and leads the match 2-1.
17:13h – NAS leads the fourth set 5-1.
17:16h – NYG makes spectacular save from NAS no.5’s spike, and goes on to win two consecutive points and trails at 6-7.
17:20h – NAS pushes ahead to 13-9.
17:25h – NAS moves closer to match-point with a 18-13 lead.
17:27h – NYG catches up and cuts NAS’s lead to 19-16. NAS calls for time-out.
17:29h – NYG no.2 commits an unforced error and pushes NAS ahead to 21-17.
17:30h – NAS inches towards the championship with a 23-18 lead.
17:32h – NAS win the third set 25-19 and wins the championship 3-1.
