It was a gripping final where both teams played hard for the school’s National title. Both teams battled hard in the first half from the first whistle but Punggol converted their penalty short corner well. Punggol’s No.4 Syakiran received the ball just outside the D and sent an unstoppable ball pass the Hildan defence.

St.Hilda’s fought back but both teams seem to be equally matched. In the second half, Syakiran again dominated the Punggol attack and even as St.Hilda’s tried to put up a spirited come back, they could not covert their chances. The final whistle signalled wild celebrations from the travelling supporters from Punggol.

Punggol had earlier won the Senior Girls final and so a historic double was achieved today. Congratulations PUNGGOL!
