Hwa Chong Institution beat Outram Secondary 66-48 in their quarterfinal game to maintain their unbeaten run and set up a semifinal meeting against Yishun.

HCI established a superiority by the end of the first quarter with a 25-6 lead. Easing up a little in the second, HCI allowed Outram to come back and put points on the board for a half-time score of 41-21. Scoring only seven points in the third, HCI still managed to stay ahead 48-31. Outram had their best quarter in the fourth with 17 points but they never seriously threatened HCI who eventually won 66-48.
