Raffles Junior College won the inaugural Cheers Inter-JC Team Challenge Trophy by sweeping all five opposing teams without losing a single match and dropping any games.

Hwa Chong Institution, Innova Junior College, Jurong Junior College, Pioneer Junior College and Millenia Institute were the five who faced the devastating firepower of the RJC team who walked away with prize money of $1500, gold medals and the challenge trophy.

HCI, who had four straight ties to set up a top-of-the-table clash with RJC, had no answer to RJC on Saturday and fell 0-5.

The RJC team led by their teacher mentor, Mr Wong Chu Lin, were elated. Said Mr Wong, " The team performed well despite not being used to the draft in SBH and I am indeed very proud of their win."

HCI came in second to win $1000 in prize money while JJC edged out IJC for third to earn themselves $500.

Final standings:

1st RJC
2nd HCI
3rd JJC
4th IJC
5th PJC
6th MI
