With the annual Silat Invitationals approaching in less than a month, athletes from all ten participating tertiary institutions are in top form and all geared up for D-Day. In this friendly between NUS and NTU, it was a close fight. However, NUS eventually won with a score of 10-9.

Hwa Chong Institution won the A Division Girls Volleyball Championship final against Victoria JC. Final score: 3-0.
Victoria Junior College claim sixth hockey title in a row with narrow victory over St Andrew’s JC
Victoria Junior College beat arch-rivals St. Andrew’s Junior College 1-0 in a rematch of last year’s final to capture the National A Division Girls’ Hockey Championship title. Both teams had a good run towards the final, remaining unbeaten in all their matches. Everything looked set for a mouth-watering encounter for the two best girls team in A division Hockey. Both teams were evenly matched throughout the game till VJC finally managed to break the SA defense to emerge victors.
Raffles Junior College triumph over St Andrew’s JC to retain hockey championship title
Raffles Junior College edged out St. Andrew’s Junior College 1-0 to capture the the A Division Boys’ Hockey Championship title. SAJC surprised all odds to make it to the final this year against favourites RJC. In an earlier group game, RJC had whipped SAJC 4-0 and they were looking for yet another easy game in the final. However, SAJC fought hard and gave RJC a run for their money.
