113 students at the Singapore Sports School came down with diarrhoea and vomiting this week, according to a story in the Straits Times (Vomiting cases in Sports School under control; Sunday, January 18, 2009).

The Ministry of Health and the National Environment Agency are investigating the cause of this widespread illness.

The dining hall has been shut down because of the situation. Students at the school stay in from Monday to Friday and have all their meals in school.
