The talk of the town may be the three local doubles pairs who have done the nation proud by springing upsets on their seeded opponents to march into the second round of the 2009 Singapore Badminton Open, but Red Sports believes that the sporting moments of the other 3 local doubles pairs, who have been knocked out in the first round, are equally worth capturing, remembering and honouring. Here they are.
Mixed doubles Chayut Triyachart and Shinta Mulia Sari did well in the qualifying rounds to reach the first round of the 2009 Singapore Badminton Open, where they succumbed 15-21, 17-21 to Malaysia’s Koo Kien Keat and Ng Hui Lin in 23 minutes. (Photo 1 © Lai Jun Wei/Red Sports)
