funny that everyone credits oliver, andy etc. but no one credits their setters. make them look good yet dont get credit. kinda unfair to setters in inter schools

I agree with ACE about the skills/talents of the 2 middle spikers of Huayi, they are very good especially with long rallies. Huayi’s defence is good and add the two spikers into the equation thats a tough team to handle. Their playing style is very similar to Victoria’s i think, cus both schools rely mainly on their 2 middle spikers to alternate shots. Its a very special tactic, and do VS and HY have the same coach?

Why is it a shocked? Huayi No 7 is one of the best spiker in the West zone. It is not surprising at all that they beat Hillgrove. Hillgrove has never been a strong team in West Zone. The only time they made it to zonal top 4 was when they DSA the whole of Keming Pri team at their first batch. After which they have never made it to the zonal top 4. Huayi on the other hand has the talented no 7, together with the other good spiker(dunno his number), has been working very hard. They gave both BP and HCI a scare in the second set which they led by quite a few points. In fact, they should have beaten HCI if only their coach is present. They played without a coach against HCI and if I am not wrong, their second set was really close.

Hopefully Huayi no 7 goes on to play in the A div. Surely he will be the star to watch out for. Imagine him almost single handedly crushed Hillgrove years of training. It is a pity that his team is incomplete, otherwise they will definately be a contenter for the West zone title.
