Northland beat Yio Chu Kang in North Zone B Div basketball Round 2

Singapore Basketball Centre, Wednesday, February 10, 2010 – Northland Secondary beat Yio Chu Kang Secondary 55-50 in a North Zone B Division Basketball Championship game.
Yio Chu Kang led by nine points at the end of the first quarter, showing their shooting skills to help them gain the lead.
But in the second quarter, Northland began to fight back, reducing Yio Chu Kang’s lead to just four points but their opponents managed to maintain a four-point lead at the end of the third.
Northland began to fight back in the fourth. Ng Fu Quan’s (Northland #6) assists were key to his teammates Dennis (capt, #10) Desmond Teo (#12), Nigel Tham (#8) and Zhang Yu Hao (#14) scoring points for the team to pull off the victory.

4th quarter 16-7
total 55-50
