Kuala Lumpur, Sunday, July 18, 2010 — Singapore lost 52-79 to Malaysia in the final of the ASEAN School Games basketball competition.

Singapore had beaten Philippines 88-82 in the semi-finals to make the final. In their opening group game against Malaysia, our boys lost 64-92.

In the girls’ final, Thailand beat Malaysia 69-66.

Our Singapore girls lost their two group games 47-72 and 80-86 to Indonesia and Philippines respectively and did not qualify for the semi-finals.
