International Convention Centre, Monday, August 23, 2010 — The Singapore men’s handball team beat Cook Islands 27-20 in the first leg of the 5th/6th place playoff.

Arun Vinoth Perumal Pillay’s (#9) was the star performer as he contributed eight of the 27 Singapore goals.

The second leg will be played tomorrow at 3pm at the same venue.
