*scape Youth Park, Monday, August 23, 2010 — Singapore played their final 17th-20th classification matches in the Youth Olympic Games basketball competition.

The boys’ team claimed their third straight win by beating India 31-20, finishing in 17th place overall.

The girls’ team suffered another one-point loss after yesterday’s 29-28 defeat to Thailand. This time, they were edged out by Chile 16-15 in overtime. The girls’ team finished the competition in 19th place.
