Republic Polytechnic, Monday, March 31, 2014 — CHIJ Secondary (Toa Payoh) defeated CHIJ St. Joseph’s Convent 34–31 in the National B Division Girls Netball Championship.
The first half saw both teams struggle to bring the ball into the goal area. The middle third of the court was tightly contested, as possession changed frequently between both teams in the period.
St. Joseph’s Convent had more opportunities in the goal circle than their counterparts. However, their Goal Shooter and Goal Attacker wasted them, missing multiple shots.
On the other hand, CHIJ(TP)’s Goal Shooter converted most of her chances in the goal circle to help her team to a slim 16–15 lead at half-time.
The game was blown wide open in the third quarter when CHIJ(TP) embarked on a 6–0 run as their Wing Defence and Goal Defence both combined to generate turnovers.
Trailing by seven points at the start of the final quarter, St. Joseph’s Convent mounted a comeback. Their Goal Attack was in imperious form, scoring with impunity. However, her efforts were not enough to stop CHIJ(TP) from holding out for a 34–31 win.

Hi, please ensure you get the right photos &/or right names of the players dutifully. Thanks!
Perhaps you would like to tell us who’s who? Since netball doesn’t have jersey numbers and players change positions frequently, there is no way to identify the players. If you know the names of the players, let us know the photo numbers and we’ll update the post.
