Do you enjoy telling stories with words or pictures? Do you love sports?

Would you like to help us with our mission of telling the Singapore sports story?

We’re looking for a few good people who share our passion for Singapore sports, especially school sports.

Frequently Asked Questions
What internship positions are available?
We are currently looking for part-time intern reporters and photographers to help us cover the school sports scene.

Is this a paid internship?
We have both paid and unpaid internships.

What are the working hours?
You need to commit to any three days a week, from Monday to Friday.

What is the period of work?
The internship is for the following period:
January to August

How many months must I commit to?
We need you to work for at least a 3-month period.

What is the minimum age?
You have to be at least 18 years old.

How will I know if I qualify?
You will need at least a B grade for your O-Level English. This applies for photographers also because there is writing involved.

Are there any forms I need to fill up?
We have an online form (see below) that you will need to fill up.

What is the internship experience like?
To find out more about the experience of past Red Crew, you can read their stories here.

Who has gone through this internship experience?
You can see a list of Red Crew graduates on our REDaction! page.

In the space provided in the form, please share with us:
a. What do you hope to gain from this internship?

b. What was a most memorable sports experience you’ve had?

c. What do you enjoy about writing or photography?

What photos do I need to send in?
Please share with us a few happy photos of yourself with your friends. We think photos of yourself with friends show you at your natural best. (We hate passport photos. I’m sure you do too!) For one of the photos, please send just a photo of yourself so that we can identify you.

If you’re a photographer, aside from a photo of yourself, please also share with us some low-res images so that we can see your work.

What is the deadline to submit?
You can join the internship midstream but our preference is to have everyone for the current internship on board by the end of January.

When will Red Sports get back to me?
If we get too many applications, we won’t have the time to personally reply to all of you. We hope you’ll understand.

If your application intrigues us and we think that you’re a good fit for Red Sports, we’ll contact you via email to arrange for your written test and interview.

We look forward to hearing from you.
