<p>Ang Mo Kio Primary broke an 11-year-old record to capture the 4x400m gold at the recent Track &amp; Field Championships 2007 held at Bishan Stadium.</p>

<p>The Ang Mo Kio team of Liaw Jian Hui, Shahizam, Tan Jing Wen and Lim Teng Han came home in a time of 4:34.34. &quot;I wanted to start fast to help my teammates with a good start,&quot; said first runner Liaw Jian Hui of the team&#8217;s first gold medal effort. Gongshang Primary came in second in a time of 4:41.90 while St Stephen&#8217;s was third in 4:44.53.</p>

<p>9-year-old Kang Yee Cher of Fuhua Primary blazed past everyone to win the D-Boys 100m Final in a championship-record time of 12.41s, a time that is faster than the equivalent British and American age-group record. Yee Cher also bagged the 200m gold in a championship-record time of 25.70s.</p>

<p>Goutham Selvarajoo beat off a late challenge from Rahul Jayaprabha to win the 800m gold in a time of 2:42.78mins. Goutham of Ang Mo Kio Primary, was leading comfortably but Rahul of Temasek Primary stepped up the pace and almost caught him. Raful finished just behind in 2:42.95min while Putera Amyrul Haziq of Kuo Chuan Presbyterian came in third with a time of 2:45.15min.</p>
