32 teams, 48 games, 8 intensive days.  And only 16 teams remain as the preliminary round of the National ‘B’ Division Basketball Championships came to a close yesterday afternoon.

Here are the top 16 teams in their new quarter-final grouping.

Boys
X1:  New Town Secondary (D1)
X2:  Chung Cheng High (A1)
X3:  Unity Secondary (C2)
X4:  Seng Kang Secondary (B2)
Y1:  Gan Eng Seng Secondary (C1)
Y2:  Catholic High School (B1)
Y3:  Woodlands Ring Secondary (D2)
Y4:  Presbyterian High School (A2)

Girls
X1:  Yuying Secondary (C1)
X2:  Anderson Secondary (B1)
X3:  Singapore Chinese Girls’ School (A2)

The quarter-finals will be played in another round-robin format, and the first games kick off Monday, April 9 at Clementi Sports Hall.
