Editor’s note: If you recognise yourself or your team mates, please let us know your names and we’ll update the captions. Thanks!
If you were at the game and would like to share your comments, please feel free to do so. The good, the bad, the ugly, the refereeing…oops.
what happened to the other comments?
but thats why conspiracy had to bring up that comment… cos only he knew there was a conspiracy.. 😉
its quite sad that the reputation of the school is abused to entice players to come to their school.
you cant say that pple are not loyal, everyone wants the best deal.. just that some are so greedy and would do anything for it.
and then they laugh and say that pple only go to SAJC on the 2nd time around..
and even better.. they deny and say that statement was not arrogance and pride…
but i know that ACS chaps arent like that, cos i have quite a few of them… *honest* – so my guess is that this chap ‘conspiracy’ is one of those acs rejects who didnt make the grade there and now he blames that it was all a conspiracy…
yah…….right. *too much xfiles there* 🙂
lol! you’re right..!
..and then do an unoriginal dance and act like they own it..
=)
perhaps it was a good thing the match got abandoned. now SA can concentrate more on covering those running backs …
To Village People,
Quote ” Watever!!!!!!!!I know the SAINTS A Div Team wiil win the championship!!! ”
Were you there yesterday?,..ha! you should have seen how acsi backs run down your backline defence.
You are obviously in distress if you were there and a little disillusioned. It is ok. This is what we call “Post Traumatic Stress Disorder”
Up and On,…but no for long 🙂
i think its abt 90 comments here….
i think it might restart after fridays match 😉
just realised this forum has even received int’l feedback !
lol!
that’s right. acsi for the ‘A’ div.
is the quarrel over? sadstuff.
so dat means its purely based on age, i think b div was under 17 ? so a div is under 20 ?
erm…acsi has a newly formed team consisting of the year 5 and 6 from the IB programme. and not sec 5s and 6s. they will go all the way taking the a div title.. anyone care to bet?
More like match abandoned 15 min into the 2nd half. The match already started late because of lightning. Weather held up for a while but eventually reached a point where the ref had no choice but to call it off.
ACS(I) was leading 25-12 when it was abandoned.
Good game, good refereeing!
Winners today? Rugby and the weather!
For those who missed the game today…well…one more opportunity to catch it again this Friday (not sure if this is confirmed).
how come ASCi can play SAJC? isnt that an A div v B Div ?
how come cancelled? weather? what a bummer !……nyways..
i’m an old saints boy and a player. i must say Les vision for this website it totally awesome. its taken me abt two days to read whats been said/going on on this forum. a lot of its mambo jambo talk… just like the chelsea manager… 😉
i think all of you have a good say and its nice to see all the passions flying up. but at the end of the rugby is the winner.. not st andrews, not acs or the refs… so lets have healthy discussions and talk abt the sport in schools… i am pro saints, but then u need the rivalry or else its just plain boring. well done acs.. congrats on this round.
so lets stop the school bashing.. rugby is a mans sports.. not for kids…
**sigh** hopefully singapore can beat the all blacks one day….but then i would wake up and realise that it was a dream ! mauahhaahhahahahaha! 🙂
SAJC vs ACSi Rugby Match Cancelled
Rematch on 27 April, Friday.
Watever!!!!!!!!I know the SAINTS A Div Team wiil win the championship!!!
The Best Is yet To Be……….
(NOT YET)………
i agree that the refereeing at this year’s final was better than previous years. anyway, go Saints Ruggers from SAJC!
To Rhino & Conspiracy:
Honestly, this year’s “B” div refereeing was better than the previous years… now don’t someone tell me it’s because ACS(I) won this year.
Part of the perceived improvement was the part played by the 2 TJs, esp Matt Oakley.
It’s now up to the referees to buck up their acts…let the game flow. Understand that the show is with the players….not you…But your role is no less important.
It’s now great we have 3rd parties like Redsports reporting on the games and giving us all the avenue to voice our concerns/feedback etc…
If all of us are matured enough to take this feedback constructively, then I can safely say Sgp schools rugby (or any other sport) will be the main benefactor!
to Rhino
no conspiracy theory, i dun buy that. Which schools are most of the local referees from? i am sure they have their preconceived bias.
in my opinion, a ref and touch judges must not be officiating the match if his or (her) alma mater is playing.
hi les… are you able to report the results for the a div?
