they will. to all the naysayers, don’t think we will go down on freefall…
AJC RAWKS. go for the champs next year! all the way!
Congratulations on your winning on the A division final. Once again all of you have done the school proud and bring glory back to the school. It was a good game. Both teams displayed good sportmanship, skill and excitement to the audience. To my juniors, do train hard to retain the trophy. Its easier to fight for it but more difficult to retain it. However, I do believe and have faith in you all that you all able to retain it. (2000 volleyball captain)
hey hey hey!! chill everyone..stop debating over tat challenge trophy thingy yea? well lets wait for next year finals and we will then see who claim the title..i have absolute faith in my juniors 🙂 anyway, its was a great game on wed..
Yea, that final was a gd game and i think since we won, so we r the best team this year!!! Do not worry, NYJC will keep the cup well de. I believe my juniors will defend our title well next year! So everyone JIA YOU for next year then…
yay man…I guess it was a gd game of volleyball tat day and i guess the better team won on the day itself..the atsmosphere in the sportshall was terrific and the reporting was really splendid..dun worry everyone, when we get back the challenge trophy,we’ll kp it clean and shiny and make it ours soon..Champions for 2007..good game..
Hello Fabian!
It’s always nice to see a player featured in our reports, who comes in and identifies him/herself. 🙂
Good game!
lolx. okok. chill everyone. NYJC, i’ll not b able to meet u next year. i hope u can defend it against my juniors. 😉 keep it clean yea.
well done AJC vball girls and guys teams! you all did a great job.. we’re so proud of u guys! keep it up!
wow wow.. to mr “new”: how could u say that? NYJC deserves that win anyway. It’s a fair play. what you said sounds rather challenging isn’t it? reports showed that NYJC already won AJC in the 2nd round with a score of 2-0. and they showed their good sportsmanship by ‘not losing to MJC on purpose with a score of 2-1’
if they do that, AJC may not even be in the finals and may have accidentally lost to MJC in the 2nd round.
Well done NYJC! you’ve earned what u deserved! Work hard for year 2008!
Hi Josh, thanks very much for your encouragement! I’m telling you, the heart rate doubles up and if they play another hour, I might’ve collapsed from a near heart attack. Ha.
And thanks to all who have pointed out the errors in the report. You know, when you have to watch a game with one eye on the court, the other on the typepad, and your brains go wired up from trying to remember the last couple of plays and the ongoing one, you get all messed up and your hand-brain-eye coordination go all wrong! You end up not typing what you are thinking, and vice versa.
Ah well, but it is good training for the next few finals coming up.
NY v’ball guys was awesome ytd!! and their high school spirit was really indeed commendable.. 3 cheers to NANYANG JUNIOR COLLEGE((:Keep up de great work!
Yea, of course NY will keep it clean!!! Dun worry…. 🙂
Hi Josh, thanks! I’m telling you, the heart rate doubles up and if they play another hour, I might collapse from a heart attack. Ha.
And thanks to everyone who’s spotted the errors in the report – you know, sometimes when you have to watch a game with one eye on the court and the other on the typepad, and your brain gets stuck between the previous plays and the current one, you get all messed up!
Thanks for the helpful comments, and I hope I’ll get better in all the upcoming finals!
ny pls kip e challenge trophy clean. aj will get it bac nex yr.
According to the official programme that we received yesterday at Toa Payoh Sports Hall, NYJC’s no.5 is listed as Sim Sze Yong.
We will change it to Sze Keong as you have indicated but just wanted to let you know that’s where we got the name from.
there were some errors in the report.
SET 3:- AJC make yet another defensive block off AJC’s Zhaoliang’s spike and now lead 17-7.
