Now, is that big or what? I’m still figuring out how to “borrow” this one to bring home. Hmm … (Photo © Leslie Tan/Red Sports)
I was thrilled when I saw the adidas running campaign go up all over this little island.
Why?
Because adidas saw the work done here on Red Sports and that persuaded them to hire me and uncle Bob to shoot for their advertising campaign. Now isn’t that great? It shows that people notice Red Sports.
The other neat thing about the running ads is that it is all about Singaporeans. So keep running and training, people. Who knows, one day one of you might get featured in a sports ad too. 🙂
“Look ma, my picture.” A bit dorky but I just HAD to pose in front of it and I forced uncle Bob to take my picture. (Photo © Leslie Tan/Red Sports)
This one was put up at Raffles MRT. Uncle Bob and I went up and down, up and down the escalator many times. (Photo © Leslie Tan/Red Sports)

Actually, I don’t come that cheap 😉 But thanks for the compliment.
Well done. Am impressed by the quality of your pictures! Am even more impressed with Adidas’ marketing department’s ingenuity for getting value-for-money ads!! : )
Thanks, Chen Munn, Ting Shan. 🙂
I enjoyed the shoot a lot and am honoured that I had some part to play with the first adidas campaign featuring Singaporeans.
great work with the photos, les! you managed to bring out the ‘local’ flavour of our trainings and races! I’m sure many of us can relate to that!
and now… to buy the 4D numbers that keep appearing in those ads…. lol.
WOW, Had no idea they were taken by RedSports! My friends and I were very impressed by the campaign! Well done uncle Les 😀
Very good photos. How long do they keep those photos up for. I thought you captured the expressions of the runners’ faces at very good angles. Takes a lot of skill especially when these are moving objects.
that 2nd last picture, the guy looked like a pervert until i read on for that advertisement that they were husband and wife lol. anyway, good job.
haha.. Remember I don’t have a camera anymore? Haha. My HP camera confirm will produce substandard photos.. which will not do justice to your work. =)
Hi Jun Wei, you should take a picture for me 🙂
Hi Jan – thanks!
hey uncle les, you forgot the ones on the pillar at J8.. and the entire “diorama” at Orchard MRT.. it just engulfs u in the advertisement! (:
