Dr Fatimah Under-16 Tournament 2007 (Boys and Girls)
Preview by Ian Chew. Fixture update by Sir Mitch.
A total of 16 boys' and 8 girls’ teams qualified for the next round of the 2007 Dr Fatimah Cup. Among the favourites for the boys' competition are the familiar schools of Catholic High, Unity Secondary and Anglican High.
However, Seng Kang Secondary have emerged from the qualifying rounds as a serious contender for the title with an unbeaten record after four matches. The team, boasting a tall average starting height, also did it with style, beating their opponents by an average of 52 points per match.
Another intriguing match-up is the girls' quarter final between traditional powerhouses Raffles Girls’ School and Nanyang Girls’ High School. The Nanyang team had preserved an unbeaten record in qualifying while the Raffles lost to Singapore Chinese Girls School in the run up to the quarter-finals.
Earlier in the year, Raffles managed to beat Nanyang 66-57 in the C Division National Championship semi-final en route to clinching the title. Will Nanyang turn the tables this time round?
What makes the matches more exciting this time round is the knock-out nature of the competition. Teams know that they need to win in order to qualify for the next round.
So catch the upcoming matches to find out the results.

lol…peirce cboys team get trashed badly…
there is a mistake in unity n yishun town for girls score , unity girl won yishun town .
some more 5 points lead can be easily chased up in 21s. is this what you call skill. -.-”
so skillful
baller if you say they are lucky, then why could they chase back in 4th quarter? you guys look down? win by 2 points then happy, then relaxed, allow the 8 to shoot a jumper then send game to overtime? aiyo -.-
baller, just because your in jurong west school then only you support them. If jruong west have skills, they wouldnt lose to east spring.
yishun sec jiayousjiayous…
winwin all the way…
team jurong west is a better team with better skills than team east spring .
i’m sure that east spring are just lucky to win the first match against jurong west.
JURONG WEST JIAYOU JIAYOU JIAYOU.JURONG WEST WOOSH WOOSH WOOSH!!!all the best for ur next game.
