There is now a raging battle between supporters of Samuel Cheong of Gongshang Primary and Jocelyn Ng of Yio Chu Kang Secondary as their respective pictures vie for the title of “Picture of the Year”. Samuel’s picture is now neck and neck with Jocelyn’s. How will this all end?
Obviously, pictures near the top of the page get an unfair advantage. So if you want to be as fair as possible, I suggest you don’t vote until you have scrolled through ALL the pictures. The pictures are posted in random order, so please don’t read anything into the order.

Hi, I must comment the photographer who took the picture of Samuel from Gongshang Pri. The photo really captures the spirit of his determination and the intensity of the competition!
The purple bib GA looks great! I think she deserve leading among all the pictures. Strive harder in more competition ya (: Vote for her guys, the one leading! 😀

i think the boy jumping the hurdles deserve it too! he looks so serious and determined.
I think th young boy whom you do not know th name of, th hurdler,
deserves it. You can see th determination and focus in his expression; Th technique in which probably took much training to perfect, which is showed in his body’s position. And it also shows that you’re never too young to train in a disciplin manner.

Thanks for the suggestion, t6n. The list is not exhaustive and I missed out on better ones like that one. I only put up pictures I took cos I didn’t have time to get permission from the other shooters.
i think this picture of nicholas yong(the pic in the above link) should be able to qualify as a nominee for picture of the year 2007. look at the unglam but determined expression. and of course, check out the musclesss weewooweet ;D

I really like the hurdle one! The boy’s expression is timeless and it looks like he’s flying, so natural, perfect technique.
