Hi volleyballers,
Your views have been heard. The arguments in the comments section reflect the honour at stake in the upcoming 2008 Inter-School Volleyball Championships.
In the Boys’ B Division, St Hilda’s have emerged as the overwhelming favourite to capture the 2008 Championship title with 50 votes. Tipped to take 2nd place is Catholic High with 44 votes. However, Shuqun is not far back with 42 votes while North Zone favourite Xinmin is expected to take 4th place with 35 votes. A heated battle had gone on for some time with regards to Catholic High and Shuqun. Having given everyone a preview of their skills at the recently concluded U-16 championships, some readers were in disagreement as to which school would prove the best. It is going to be a hard fight as the teams have been feverishly brushing up their skills and going through intensive trainings during the December holidays. Definitely something to watch out for!
In the Girls’ B Division, Presbyterian High is a clear favorite to win the Championship. With 36 votes, Presbyterian High is in front of Jurong and Ngee Ann. Jurong is in 2nd place, with 31 votes, whereas Ngee Ann is in 3rd. Cedar takes 4th with 17 votes. Surprisingly, Nanyang Girls’ who came in runners up in the ‘C’ Division championships this year did not receive a single vote for this category. Will these predictions come true? Or will Nanyang Girls’ create an upset by breaking into the top 4. Only time will tell.
In the Boys’ C Division, Catholic High emerged the winner in the voting battle against St Hilda’s for the championship title. Catholic High led the vote count by three, pushing St. Hilda’s back into 2nd. Shuqun and Xinmin take 3rd and 4th, with 26 and 25 votes respectively.
In the Girls’ C Division, Cedar Girls’ are still hotly tipped to finish with the title in their hands. At 36 votes, they were hot reader favourites over Ngee Ann with only 25 votes. Dunman, Shuqun and Xinmin are the three teams who look like they have to fight hard to prove that they belong in the top four. Dunman and Shuqun are in joint 3rd position with 16 votes each, whereas Xinmin lags behind with 13 votes.
Thank you all for your votes. We look forward to the new season to see how accurate your predictions will prove to be. 😉

lmao, hilda’s disappeared into thin air.
I think we should all just vote and see what happens. Most of the schs playing in the under-16 n under-13 are yet-to-be-finished final products. Having said that, i also believe that as sportsmen, we should be able to tale criticism as readily as we dish them out. For those who cannot take others criticising your sch, just prove them wrong with actions on court, with credible results. For all the irresponsible spammers, perhaps u shd grow up and learn to post more responsibly too?
Can we stop all this rubbish once and for all? Gives vballers a bad name…
haha cos u never play ma. u play confirm 5-1 de. LOL
wahhahah cathigh friendly xinmin 3-3 ? lolz . so dun underestimate xinmin hor . whahah . we try to win hildas nx yr !! jyjy ^^ (fat hope )

LAWRENCE, lets jiayou for next year nationals k? see u in the finals, lets knock hildas out!!
And for ur info, i’m the number 13
Nexxt year then see who win or who lose. There’s no harm to it what ! :DDDDD
So just peace lah!!
Please don’t be childish lah! Quarrel over these type of things. :D:D:D:D:D
is not whether sqs rock or doesnt rock, all this i dont care at all but just that if pple says your sch dont look any better than the other teams, i’m sure you wont like it too.
