NOMINATION PERIOD END TONIGHT AND SO THIS IS YOUR LAST CHANCE TO NOMINATE YOUR PLAYERS.
Hi volleyballers and sports fans,
To make the final voting more interesting, we have decided to change the rules of nomination. Previously, you needed 10 nominations to qualify for the voting round. We are waiving that requirement. As long as your name is nominated once, it will go into the voting round. We are also extending the nomination period by one week.
This is how you nominate.
Select your best six starters by position and put it down in the comments section this way:
name of player – school – jersey number – position – zone – division (B or C) – gender
The positions are: Setter, Libero, Middle Blocker or Middle Hitter, Outside Hitter, Opposite Hitter or Right Side Hitter (positional references from wikipedia.com – if the positions are different for Singapore, please let us know in the comments section)
So for example, this is how you would write it:
Malcolm Tan – Xinmin – Setter – jersey number – North Zone – B Div – Boys
Nominations will close midnight on Saturday, March 1, 2008. After that, voting will begin.
The voting will be done on a national basis and will last for two weeks. The player for every position with the highest number of votes will eventually get a place in the RedSportsVI (“VI” stands for the number 6 in Roman numerals).
So let’s have fun and let the nomination begin. Don’t forget, all nominations must come in by midnight, Saturday, March 1, 2008.
