Hi, i think i’ll clear this thing up. I have seen ACS Ind play quite a few times, and i have more or less heard their story about how they got a team up and running and stuff.
1. ‘acsfan’ who nominated a ‘bench’ player, i really, like many others, think that u find this a joke. not only do u think nominating the player in question is a joke, u also think that redsports running this voting is a joke and implyingly, think that redsports itslf is a joke. that is surely messed up. u may find acs ind’s football funny or lousy, but trying to joke here is surely not a smart way of expressing your opinion. u may find it a funny way or a cool way to express ur opinion but its really very inappropriate.
2. ‘someone’, while it is true that acs ind’s standard of football is not up there, trust me i know cos i’ve watched them play many times. but still, mocking them on a very public website is quite demeaning. i am quite afraid of what the acs ind players will think after they read this. just so u know, many of them fought quite hard to even have an a division team and reading your comment may make them feel like ‘why did i waste my time?’. so then, do u think these passionate players are such jokes? on e other side, i do agree with u that someone probably played a joke, thinking it was funny to nominate a ‘bench’ player. not funny, however.
3. i must say, i’m disappointed with e 2 things, and the people behind them, that i’ve mentioned so far. since when did spectators or even superior opponents have the right to make fun of their inferior opponents so publicly? this shows quite a sad state of our youth sport even, MAYBE.
thanks for hearing me out. now think about it.
somebody i am sad to see that u have put the acs team down so easily, just to let u noe they are taking part in this competition for the first time and are trying very hard to do their best. i would like to apologise on behalf of the team if we were seen as disrespecting the opponents.
whoever nominated gareth nah is trying to disgrace acs and it is not very nice of u to do tat.
thanx:)
