ACS(IND), Monday, March 24, 2008 – The Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) beat St. Andrew’s Secondary 13-10 in the second round of the Nationals B Division Boys Rugby Championship. St. Andrew’s led 7-3 at half-time.

Despite heavy rain fell during the second half, the game continued. The match could have gone either way but with good defence by ACS(IND), they managed to score two tries during the second half. A third try was not allowed as St. Andrew’s were deemed not to be 10 metres away after a penalty was awarded to ACS(IND) at the 22 metre line. Instead, another penalty was awarded but ACS(IND) just could not got through the St. Andrew’s defence.

St. Andrew’s came back strongly but they just could not penetrate the solid ACS(IND) defence at their try line.
