Victoria Junior College, Monday, March 31, 2008 – Victoria Junior College (VJC) came into the game as favourites but the first few minutes were a scrappy affair, with Serangoon Junior College (SRJC) threatening VJC’s disorganised defence.

SRJC finally made a breakthrough with a freekick that flew into the top right corner of the goal, silencing the home crowd.

The lead was short-lived, and VJC showed why they are one of the title contenders with a fast and furious response, scoring immediately after kickoff.

The first half ended 1-1, and the teams had to start the second half well in order to gain the psychological advantage.

VJC finally took the lead through No.10 Alex as he calmly brought the ball down inside the box and slotted it home.

Whilst SRJC pressed for an equaliser, VJC kept up the pressure and won most of the possession. Finally, a header gave VJC a two-goal advantage in the last 10 minutes or so, sealing the game for the home team.
