A reader has kindly put this together for everyone’s benefit. Readers have said that the voting is more a popularity contest. Any vote will always have an element of that. In any case, the aim of this vote, in line with the mission of this site, was to bring our vibrant sports scene to light and given the sheer number of comments for this voting, we think that’s been achieved.
So whether this is the best 15 or not, let’s remember that they are fellow Singaporeans. If some of them move on to represent the nation one day, we hope that their appearance in the top 15 made an encouraging difference in their journey to that high honour.
Red Sports. Always Game.

poly boys are in the same age group and are just as good or even better than many Adiv players. this is redsports best XV ruggers anyway
eric ong, prop, acsi
ian gan, scrumhalf, acsi
BLANDON TAN OF ACSI LA DUH!
anyway, now its the A div season, the IVP for poly /ITE students are not on yet.
but it says here A division rugby players, which then effectively doesn’t include the poly/ITE boys. i think we should limit it to the A division – JC players only, just like how the other nominations are done. Then, it would be fair to the A division players. Maybe you could conduct another voting on the poly/ITE boys uncle Les? thanks
jjc eight man is nevin
I have no objections if you all wish to nominate the polytechnic players as well. I say the more the merrier. They are in the same age-group anyway.
I think we should leave out the B Division boys. Sorry B Div guys, I’ll do a poll for you next year. : )
