Im sorry, but fyi Lee Zhi Shu has already been putting in sublime performances game in, game out since his J1 year LAST year, and certainly has had a standout season for AJ overall this year, with key contributions in crucial games from the quarters on. In fact, he’s owning on the club circuit with Min Yi as well. Dont hate just cos your man was hated on man. Saying Zhi Shu only played well in the final is just so low. Tsk.
“hock sing apparently was the only center left to be chosen amongst the a div centre”. Are you sure???
jokes criticsing whu should or should not get in…serious jokes..perharps offer your opinions wif some resposibility hock sing apparently was the only center left to be chosen amongst the a div centre bernard lip on the other hand has been touted as a ‘talent’ proven by his partcipation in the U-15 team in his lower sec years. coaches obviously pick their players for a reason so wake up ur ideas n stop whining.lee zhi shu apprently had only one gd game IMO which was the finals
stop criticising the players alr they hv trained hard and played hard during their games that’s why they are chosen. And we all believe that they know that they will continue to train even harder to make their spot in combined schs worth it. sm players are not chosen but it will only spur em on to train harder to fight for their chance the next time round. so why don’t you guys give ENCOURAGEMENT instead of flaming the players instead. aft all we’re all rep SINGAPORE dudes!
its hock sing la dun seng* and he is not bad for a center watch him play in milo cup den u know la so stop cricising him even before u watch him play.
seng*
i think vjc’s center kenneth was more deserving, or you can even take ajc’s lee zhishu who’s an excellent rebounder for a forward. who is hock sing!!
man who is this HOCK SENG???????????
to x: its not compliment, its complement each other. note that please. english is important you know
you guys can say what ever you want –
TO H – i was not critisizing MW
the truth anyone who watches the A boys Basketball tournament will definitly know that HOCK SENG did not warrant his place in that team- i really hope that saome one can saysomething to warrant his place in the team
i mean you might say i am bitchy or something but the truth is and everyone knows that he has deprived some one else who deserved the place for sure
the other 11 guys i have nothing to say but i am sorry to SAY this HOCK SENG DID NOT even have one good game to warant a place in the combined schools team
no disrespect to him – but i felt there were many other centres who were more deserving ..
besides. these things happen from time to time. coaches are human too. they can make mistakes
hello. why won’t anyone realize that all this is so subjective and differs from ppl to ppl. you may have your best 12 and the coaches theirs. grow up
well, hocksing probably got in though he’s only a reserve centre because hc has too many strong players that even their reserves can get in?
maybe you can do better, LOL, why dont you get in and play on court and show us what you’ve got, instead of blabbering criticisms here.
not really. combined schs is a team of the best 12 plyers in a div. not some kinda of team thing. granted u need team work to win. but combined schs is like an award to the best 12 plyers. and ya, hock seng is a reserve centre and he got in. haha. the world amazes me
wah what an analysis…
A combined school team is still a team no matter what. It is not about picking an all star team that is full of fantastic individuals, it is about picking the team with players who can compliment also and cover their U-18 teammates strengths and weakness.
True, there may be better individuals out there who might be more deserving, but you are looking at this team of people who’s skills and playing style are more fitting for one another.
A player’s skills can only do so much to help a team win a game, there is much more to consider other than sheer skills that constitutes to a winning formula.
Please respect all the players that got into the U-18. I’m sure all of them are deserving of it.
the team’s already chosen, and there’s no need to do a post-mortem and criticise the players chosen, nor the coach.
like P said, criticising is so narrow minded. why dont u guys just let the players prove themselves before condemning them?
