Picture story by Tan Huey Ying.
Toa Payoh Sports Hall, Wednesday, May 21, 2008 – Raffles Junior College swept aside Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) 5-0 to win the A Division Boys Badminton Championship. RJC are double champions after their girls team also won the girls’ championship. In this match, it was a clean sweep in every set as RJC outplayed their ACS(I) opponents. By the time the first doubles match had ended, the ACS(I) camp seemed to have given up hope of winning. A last-ditch attempt by Tan Xin Quan of ACS(I) was staged after losing the first set to Shawn from RJC. However, he was outplayed and finished off without making much of an impact. Nevertheless, it was still a valiant attempt by the boys from ACS(I) to fight for the trophy. Good job, RJC!

to rafflesian,
do u think being a redsport reporter is easy? u think it is easy to handle such a webpage and can have reports of all the sports instantly? they nid to fork out their time without being paid to let us know more abt the sports news happening in SG. if u think u are tat gd, pls submit ur own report and dun keep whining. so what if the 3rd/4th placing report are longer than the 1st/2nd placing? at least there are reports on it. SO PLZ STOP WHINING.
congrats to all teams who got into top4 =)
to rafflesian:
be glad someone bothers to report about the matches at all. If u aren’t satisfied with the report, why don’t u submit a longer and more detailed one instead of whining here? The reporters(those from REDcrew and not) do not have the luxury of time to wax lyrical about the victories of rjc or otherwise, in case you thought they have. Just my 2cents =)
thats me in the 5th picture
huh? such a short report? wat abt the interviews conducted after the prize presentation? only pics of 2 matches? and no pics from the gal finals? this report is shorter than the 3rd/4th placing one? is there something against rjc? double gold and so little said as compared to the 3rd/4th placing game?
