Nurul Jannah of Singapore Sports School wins long jump gold

Choa Chu Kang Stadium, Thursday, July 3, 2008 – Nurul Jannah Bte Mohd Zulkifli (#95) of the Singapore Sports School won the B Division Girls long jump gold at the 49th Inter-school Track & Field Championships with a jump distance of 5.17m.

Lee Su Yi Jessica (#112) from CHIJ Secondary (Toa Payoh) was close behind with a jump distance of 5.08m. She seemed the favourite to win the gold, being in top form right from the start. However, she stumbled and committed fouls on her last three jumps. Nevertheless, her effort was still enough to put her in second place.

The bronze medal went to Tan Yee Ting Camille (#97) also of the Singapore Sports School. She leapt a distance of 4.87m to complete the trio.
