Choa Chu Kang Stadium, Friday, July 11, 2008 – Goh Weining (#84) of the Singapore Sports School won the C Division Girls 80m hurdles gold at the 49th Inter-school Track & Field Championships with a record time of 12.52s. Weining broke the record of 12.70s set by Inez Leong of CHIJ St. Nicholas Girls’ in 2007.
Shermaine Chia Wen Yi (#40) from CHIJ St. Nicholas Girls’ was close behind with a time of 12.75s.
The bronze medal went to Cheong Huimin Cheryl (#370) of Nanyang Girls’ High who came in with a time of 13.40s.
