Heard that if bedok town win barker tomorow then they’ll be the first neighbourhood school in history to enter the top 4.
So all the best guys.
who noes…ri and saints might come bck stronger in the semis
Yea, saints SHOULD lose to raffles.
This would make at least 1 old boy from saints happy.
Since his playing days, he was happy losing to raffles.
John, I agree with you.
Its d same trumpetous call by saints.
Its a joke that rugby fan says saints at times managed to hold ACSI long periods before letting them score!
Even a nincompoop can tell you ACSI’s 7 tries average out to abt 1 try per 8.5mins. If this is long time, then saints ONLY 1 try must have seemed like eternity! They practically scored on the last few seconds of the game.
I hope you saints stop your arrogance n stop putting Raffles down.
Raffles will own saints.
Sometimes, the game plan and moves do not mean the difference between winning and losing. It’s the determination and the hunger to win. I doubt Saints will win Raffles by such a large margin. Who knows? They may even enter the finals.
I agree with Dan. Raffles is shit. No moves how to win??? You want to be a champion, must have good moves. Can’t just rely on fast boys. Some more no game plan! Unlike Saints. Always got game plan. Saints beat RI in a friendly game and it will happen again. Only this time, I predict at least 30 points. I’m sure Dan will agree.
To Outsider:
Sometimes the score does not tell the entire story. I was at the game & saw the determination displayed by both sides. At times Saints managed to hold ACSI for long periods before letting them score. Not sure if they (Saints) were holding back anything for the semis or finals. Well everyone is entitled to his own opinion. I enjoyed the game because it was clean and well played. I hv seen some (school) games where the losing team started playing ‘dirty’ to try and intimidate their opponents.
From what I observe, I think it will likely be an ACSI & Saints finals. RI doesn’t seem keen in rugby this year perhaps bcos they have swipe all the Swimming Titles.
Looks like another Grand Slam year for ACS(i) But this will be special for them coz they will be wining al three divisions A, B, and C. This year will be the 6th Grand Slam title
Right now, ACS is already in the lead with the most grand slams.
Anglo-Chinese – 5 Grand Slams (’97, ‘99, ‘01, ‘02, ‘03)
Raffles – 4 Grand Slams (’82, ‘83, ‘84, ‘91)
St Andrew’s – 2 Grand Slams (’79, ‘87)
Saints will own raffles
Saints are more likely to win Raffles in my opinion. Raffles isn’t a really strong team. ( i’ve watched their matches.) They don’t have much of a game plan, neither do they use any moves. Most of their trys this season were just runs as they have some preety fast runners.
thx hi…saints mistake was…they didn’t tackle…i watch the match…although my knowledge bout rugby is vey low…i noe that saints was scared…usually they tackled well…i saw them played against ri b4…they won ri…btw.. i have a feeling saints will meet ri at the semis n acsi will meet btss…
Rugby fan : “The game between ACSI & Saints was very good. Both sides played…good rugby”
With a score of 41-5,how can both sides played good rugby?
Either the winner is very good, or the loser very lousy.
I hear tis ACSI c boys is a formidable team.
So saints must be….wudever..
Raffles should be playing ACS in the finals.
Will be a better final to watch.

Looks like Raffles has a good chance to be in the finals with ACS.
The game between ACSI & Saints was very good. Both sides played clean and good rugby despite the earlier heavy downpour. The ball handling was good considering the pitch was very wet. All players played superbly without holding back. There was also great support from parents and old boys of both sides. GREAT GAME to watch!!
seems like saints started losing the silverware the same time SRU did a refereeing shake-up and fielded referees with no ties to saints for the impt games, esp the finals.
No pixie…next monday is bts vs barker..
yesterday was bts vs montfort
@tohkiatshengKEN, no problem.. you know the score better than I do… 😛
