Hmm well thanks Dennis!
hahahah well people lets just say that everyone who was down for the A divison matches or played in the tournament will be able to identify the top players.
This poll is not restricted so it is difficult to ensure that the poll results will turn out fair. One of the reasons is there are too many players nominated in this poll.
I would suggest that redsports identify the top 6 players themselves and just post the names of the 6 players. This could help to ensure a fair result. Although some players may be missed out, this could be the only way to solve the issue.
Christy and the other reporters have witnessed the tournament themselves. Thus their nominations will be credible to a large extent
“so chill alright. wouldnt like any flaming or whatsoever. after all, this is but an online poll.”
im sorry but your previous comment already qualified as flaming and youre just contradicting yourself now.
your ijc captain kok liang is a good friend of ours and he would never make such petty comments, take a leaf out of his book
WHY SO SERIOUS? Hahaha
just hold on a minute..
“Im not sure what people like ‘browsing around’ are trying to achieve by their statements.”
i’m not trying to discredit you or any of vj’s players. in fact, i’m from ijc and it just so happened that i tried accessing the computer in my school to vote but it turned out that the votes had already been cast on the players from your school hence that comment. and you really dont have to clarify or account for anything so chill alright. wouldnt like any flaming or whatsoever. after all, this is but an online poll.
Hey guys, i understand this poll may not be highly accurate and some people like dingjun are really undervoted.
While i admit that vj players including myself may have a dispoportionately high amount of votes, nothing can be done if many of our schoolmates choose to vote for us.
Im not sure what people like ‘browsing around’ are trying to achieve by their statements.
Why take this poll so seriously? Many of the players in it dont. This is just a fun poll.
I know i dont believe being on the top of the charts makes me the best player in the adiv
not from vj. sorry, but i think you’re not getting my point. the IPs of the computers in each jc are linked as they are part of the MOE network therefore the names i saw voted when i used the school’s computers were those of the vj players. you seem upset, why?
the same way mj coms are used to vote for mj players? dont you think its natural and every school will tend to vote in favour of their own players? like duh, get your brain scanned, sure you belong in vj?
wow, apparently i just found out that all the moe ip addresses are the same? most of the computers in my school seem to have their votes placed already all on vj players. good support there even for those who were warming the bench.
Amos (#21, VJC, goalkeeper)
Jared Heng (#8, VJC, forward)
sorry. my mistake. the ratio’s 59:20. but still……
just happened to view this page again. seems like the stats have gotten worse since the last time i visited.
minimum number of votes for vj players? a staggering 64.
minimum number of votes for rj players? 26.
i know most players dont really care abt the poll results but it’s still annoying as a bystander to see them being overshadowed!
Ding Jun is clearly under-rated here!!
keeper-lionel(mjc)
defender-dennis(vjc)
defender-edward(vjc)
forward-baoren(acjc)
forward-glenden(mjc)
forward-dingjun(yjc)
i think lionel, baoren and dennis are really good players. i am not saying the other three are not good. but the three of them are all very very very talented players.
i think gary ding is from YJ not IJ
perhaps that partially accounts for the fact that at the time of comment, all mj players have at least 20 votes while vj players have at least 38 votes =x not that i have anything against them. it’s just an observation.
haha yup. i totally agree that people from rj are too busy studying. actually i see mostly only vjc and mjc-ians posting comments here.
to all these people: go study now!
i think trully good players must have self value from within.
i hope good players who do not get a lot of votes realise that and persevere.
by the way i think RJC#13 was great too, fast and agile.
RJC ppl are probably too busy studying to vote =.=
cmon people these are only votes , u dun need to be recognised or anything , as long as u’ve played ur best and given ur best then u shud have no regrets .
@floorballer
it is true that votes are likely to be swinging in favour of the more popular guys but it doesn’t mean that we should forget about those who played well but are receiving far less recognition.
hence the urge for all to take note of the players who are currently standing at positions which belittle their achievements on court.
this may not be a very serious poll but every single vote will go far as encouragement for the players.
on a side note: please take note of your language use.
but you got to say that yj played extremely well for that game, it was even better then the final itself for me!
