Round 4 of the Polytechnic-Institute of Technical Education (POL-ITE) Rugby Championship will kick off on Monday, July 28th at Temasek Polytechnic with Temasek Polytechnic (TP) facing defending champions Singapore Polytechnic (SP) at 5pm, while Ngee Ann Polytechnic (NP) will take on Combined ITE at 7pm.

The game between TP and SP pits the two best teams in this tournament and the winner will take home the championship. However, if this match ends up in a stalemate, TP will bring home the title due to having more bonus points and a superior points difference.

TP will come into this match as underdogs, but looking at their squad in this POL-ITE edition, it will not be easy for SP to retain their title. Furthermore, all the pressure is on SP to retain their championship title. SP forwards will have to stop their TP counterparts, and not let them get an edge over them. The SP backline will also have to be at their very best to stop the dangerous TP backs from running havoc in the match.

In the later match, ITE and NP will be looking to get their first victory and their tournament back on track after two consecutive losses each. ITE however, will come into the match as favourites, while NP will be looking to improve after their embarrassing defeat in round 1.
