Singapore stands a good chance of winning her first Olympic medal since Tan Howe Liang’s silver medal for weightlifting at the 1960 Rome Olympics. And where will the medal potentially come from? Table tennis.
The women’s table tennis team is seeded second after China and if all goes to plan, the team is expected to make the final. The draw for both the team and individual events will be held tomorrow in Beijing.
