Hello sports fans,

Some of you may have noticed a growing number of writers and photographers on Red Sports over the last few months. Well, that’s because a group of enthusiastic Singapore sports fans have stepped forward to serve the Singapore sports community through Red Sports.

A group of interns started their journey with Red Sports in June 2008 and since then, you may have seen them around in their RED tees, pointing a camera at you or scribbling down notes as fast as they can.

If you think you’d like to join the RED Crew in our continuing mission to tell a Singapore sports story, you can sign up for the next REDaction! internship programme starting in January 2009.

You may think you’re not the greatest writer or the best photographer, but that’s not what we are looking for. For us, the most important quality you can bring to the team is the belief that the stories you write and the pictures you take tell a Singapore sports story that will serves our fellow Singaporean athletes.

Because few are the people who are willing to do this work but sweet is the reward knowing that you are part of something meaningful and bigger which serves the greater good.

For here on this site, we tell the Singapore sports story because this is where we grow up, this is where we go to school, this is our country.

That’s what memories are made of and Red Sports remembers with them.
