Catholic High School, Saturday, November 15, 2008 – Under the watchful eyes of coaches, 18 basketball players, all aged 17 years and younger, put in some impressive performances to earn their draft spots in the adidas Nations basketball league. A total of 68 players had turned up for the selection trials.
These players will be drafted into four adidas teams – Whites, Golds, Reds and Blacks. The four teams will play each other in a round-robin league format the weekends of February 7th, 14th and 21st in 2009.
