Singapore River, November 23, 2008 – The Republic Polytechnic dragon boat team made a name for themselves when they won four titles at the recent Singapore River Regatta.

RP won the men’s national, mixed national, men’s tertiary and women’s tertiary categories. RP would have won the women’s national category too but disqualified themselves by ending up in the wrong lane.

This is the first time in the regatta’s 26-year history that a team has won four gold titles.
