Gelora Bung Karno Stadium, Friday, December 5, 2008 – An impressive Indonesia beat Myanmar 3-0 to secure their first three points in the ASEAN Football Championship (AFF Suzuki Cup).

Budi Sudarsono scored to get Indonesia going in the 26th minute. Teammate Firman Utina then scored the second three minutes later in the 29th to ensure that the hosts went into the break with a comfortable 2-0 lead.

Bambung Pamungkas then scored the third in the 65th minute to ensure three points.

The win puts Indonesia second in the table on goal difference behind defending champions Singapore who beat Cambodia 5-0 in the earlier game at the same venue.
