Singapore Polytechnic, Thursday 29 January 2009 – West Spring Secondary beat Unity Secondary 2-1 (25-23, 26-28, 25-20) in a B Division Boys West Zone Volleyball Championship match.
Unity had a bad start and were initially down 1-4 but they eventually caught up to tie Unity at 23-23.
But a serve by Unity went out of bounds, giving West Spring set point. The last point and set was gifted to West Spring through a blocking error by Unity.
Unity fought back to take the second set. They were tied at 25-25, but this time it was West Spring who made two consecutive errors to gift Unity the second set 27-25.
West Spring came back in the last set to win it 25-20 and wrap up the win.
Good luck to both teams for their last games.
