Choa Chu Kang Sports Hall, Thursday, January 20, 2009 – Shuqun Secondary beat Bukit Panjang Government High 25-17, 25-17 to capture the boys’ B Division West Zone Volleyball Championship title.
The Shuqun spiking gave them an advantage over Bukit Panjang who could do little in defending against it. Though they gave their supporters reason to cheer as they fought back, Bukit Panjang yielded the first set to Shuqun 17-25.
Bukit Panjang continued to struggle in the second set, their attacks handled effortlessly by Shuqun.
Shuqun continued to dominate in the second set and wrapped it up by an identical score of 25-17.
Final score : 2-0 (25-17, 25-17)

Cool laas. Think shuqun vb is really good. C’boys, C’girls and B’boys all took West-zone championdship. But too bad B’girls didn’t. If not the whole west-zone championship shall be their’s, haaahs.
