Jurong East Sports Hall, Saturday, April 4, 2009 – Mannas beat the Vipers 41-30 on the back of a standout 12-1 run in the first quarter in the Netball Super League.

The Mannas victory was never in doubt from the first second of the game. Good timing of runs helped Mannas to an early 11-point lead and they further widened their lead to 17-4 by the end of the first quarter.

Despite forcing the Mannas into poor passes with a tighter defence, unforced errors by Vipers in the second quarter allowed Mannas to build a convicing lead.

Mannas entered the third quarter with a comfortable 16-point lead and despite Vipers attempt to narrow the gap, the Mannas wrapped up the victory to claim the top spot in the league table.

Manna took the game 41 – 30 to lead the table.
