Readers have nominated a long list of cross-country runners and the voting has begun.
So who’s the best cross-country runner? Who can win when it counts and to top it off, is a great teammate to boot?
Let’s hear your vote.
Alicia Kho is now the leader in the girls’ category while Soh Rui Yong leads the boys.
This poll is obviously not just about who is the fastest runner. A lot of other factors come into play as you can see. It will be interesting to see how it all turns out. 😉
N.B. We use a voting plugin that prevents a particular IP address from voting more than once. The ISPs (SingTel, Starhub, Pacific Net) apparently use rotating IP addresses. This means you might not be able to vote even if you haven’t done so. Sorry, but this is the only way to prevent an ego maniac from voting for himself 1,000 times.
REDpoll
You have 5 votes and have to use them all at one go. Voting ends midnight, May 15th, 2009.

Totally agree with Uncle Les.
This is just a poll.
It really does not matter who is the top winner overall.
If you are the best, everyone will know it?
It does not matter if you are the top runner voted by people.
This poll is just a reflection of other people’s and your comments.
Cheryl Chan (Cedar Girls’, B Division, Girls)
Romaine Soh (Cedar Girls’, B Division, Girls)
You all should know that we only put this poll up because a cross-country runner suggested it to me.
I wasn’t convinced since I knew the person might get attacked by others if she wasn’t a top runner at the cross country championships.
True enough, it’s happening.
I will not tolerate personal attacks on runners.
Support your favourite runner by all means but if you have nothing nice to say about the front runner in this poll, which is obviously a poll that has popularity elements in it, then keep your comments to yourself.
We will delete all mean, nasty comments.
So watch your comments, girls.
