CCAB, Monday, April 13, 2009 – St. Andrew’s Secondary cruised to a 27-5 victory over St. Joseph’s Institution in their B Division Rugby Championship semi-final.
A mistake by a Saint led to the one and only SJI try but it was Saints all the way at the end.
The Saints will now meet Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) in the final next Wednesday, April 22, 2009. Time and venue to be confirmed.
In the Bowl semi-finals, Jurong Secondary thumped Unity Secondary 36-0 while Bukit Batok Secondary edged Montfort Secondary 7-5.
In a Plate semi-final, Pioneer Secondary peat Peirce Secondary 20-12.
