“Competition level improved, yet although it was difficult to retain the title, we worked hard a month ago to get the result we wanted. I’m happy to achieve the victory with my teammates,” reflects RP captain Shawn, after making it a double victory for RP with the boys winning the POL-ITE Men 20 Crew. (Photo 6 © Shaun Ho)

I love you!!!
Hi everyone, this is Mr Yong from NJC. On the behalf of the NJC Canoeing Team, I wholeheartedly thank ACJC for being very humble, respectable and worthy winners. They are the better team and they deserve to win for all the hardwork they have put into training and all the personal sacrifices they have made to reach the highest level of performance both at the school and the national level. All of us in NJC accept and respect them as worthy winners. Personally, I also feel that all other teams which have trained hard and gave their all in the races are winners too. Victories or defeats are part and parcel in sports. NJC Canoeing Team wish every teams all the best in future races. We look forward to seeing dragon boating and canoeing becoming core sports in Singapore in the near future. Cheers! Yours humbly, Yong
@Yong Yuen Cheng: You are an honourable man.
I shall not bandy heated words with you. Prove me wrong, whichever team you’re from. Do beat them the next time you meet them. 🙂
Watch what you are saying E. If you have what it takes, come and have some pacing.
