hahah i agree… the games are a little early:)
7am?!?! That’s just insane.
I just found out Singapore is playing at 7AM tomorrow against Korea.
I was going to cover them for their originally scheduled 11am game but sorry lah, 7am is just ridiculous.
So to play at 7am, means they have to get to the stadium at 6am, which means they have to wake up at 4.30am if they are to eat breakfast or risk playing on an empty stomach.
What kind of scheduling is that?
gabriel teh is better
I would wish to watch FIBA asia U16 please tell me theres live broadcast, if not, where do I get the videos? or is there live streaming on a certain website?
For Delvin in the team is a very good exposure for such a young player, there more good year for him to explore keep it up.
Coach Ong Yao Kwang was my ex-coach. Go Coach Ong!
is the singapore team getting the services of the imports for this contest?..
@nolah: They are all Singaporeans.
Okay confirm already. The reserve of nationals u-16 will not replace although kang liang is the first reserve he will have the jersey and so but he will not be allowed to play as BAS do not wish to pay the replacement fee of 800US dollars to FIBA as a fine of late changes to the teamlist. So singapore is going ahead with 11players with 2reserve. To AND yes both kang liang and sherwin is good, i have seen them play and personally kang liang has a strong defence with lots of steal and do great decision and sherwin with good fastbreak and fakes. But too bad to kang liang as BAS do not wish to fork out such big sum to replace.
Russel Low, Jabez Su and Larry Liew are future Slingers!!!!!!!
@redsports, thanks for letting my comments go through. Feel free to edit my comments and hopefully they don’t offend because I got a really sharp style of writing.
Yea agree..basketball is based on teamwork. Teams with 1-2 star players can win but will not shine brighter than teams with fantastic teamwork that aids them to win matches. =) All the best boys for FIBA Asia! Enjoy the process of winning 😉
Basketball is a Team game and not depends on individual star. The Team has to work together and with a selfness attitude, notwithstanding to outshine one’s capability and fame.
