Ace. do you have a grudge against the hci coach. do you have to make it sound like he owes you money or something. he is still the coach, show some respect. and whole team dsa is definitely not the current sec 4 hci batch. you probably couldnt remember clearly what the coach said, it is probably whole team dsa for the current sec 3 hci batch, which unfortunately has already fallen apart due to inside crises. so can you stop trying to make other schools’ teams sound bad when your probably not as good urself. THANKS. btw ur so-called credible sources are all backed up by ur own assumptions -.-
Yeah, indeed friendly is different from competition. HCI without their main spikers lost to GMS(S). But heard that their preety strong with their main spiker. Anyway, good luck to all taking part in 2010 volleyball championships.
as said its a friendly and friendlies and competition are very different.lol. but VS no doubt is pretty strong too XD
someone in HCI told me they lost 3-0 to victoria school in a friendly. Is VS that strong?
@ Ace.
Correction no.1 : My team is seriously not all DSAs. There’s only 2.
Correction no.2 : I am NOT Mingyeow’s captain (if that was what you meant), NEVER, in fact throughout all my years of playing ball. Our captain was Justin TKZ.
Correction no.3 : I don’t think that i am better than Ming Yeow.
Correction no.4 : Who says it is no doubt we will make it into zonals top 4? Anything can happen.
Peace out. Lol 🙂
wow ace for the majority of the hci b’div players who have not played vb in primary school to be seen as dsa people – tat’s really quite a compliment:)
ok ace. only 2 players are from dsa from the current sec 4. ya.
wow ace is really well informed..who are u?
So does anyone have the vball b division fixtures?
volunteers are looking for it.
please help us update at

Warren, U asking me where I got the info from? From their coach. I know the whole of HCI team. The coach boasted to everyone that he has whole team DSA in 2007 and his team was beating everyone including Xinmin in that year. He went around telling everyone that by June 2007, his sec one(which is the current sec 4 with Max in it) was owning every schools in friendly. At that time, most of the other schools were not even really to do formation, not to say play a decent friendly match. But his team was able to, cos most(I wont say all even though that is wat Feng Duan was saying) of his players are DSA.
As for the sec 2, it is true that their centre spiker(no 5 if I am not wrong) broke his finger. But they were in the same group against BP and Clementi town(Oliver was inside and he is no doubt the strongest player of his batch at that time). They lost to both and hence not able to make it to the zonal top 4. And just for your info, both BP and Clementi town only as 1 DSA at that time. BP has Ming Yeow(Max is Mingyeow’s caption so obviously he is better than him.)
I am not trying to pick up a fight here but I do have credible sources.
As for this year, I have no doubt they will make it to zonal top 4 but for Nationals top 4, there is no way they beat SQS, SHS, XMS, PSS and Cat High so chances of them making it is slim unless they have super good draw all the way.
The ball is round though and you can only wish them luck.
I tink that many factors affect teams’ performances during matches. For e.g, injury. HCI looks like a formidable team this year tho it faces an uphill task against powerhouses like hildas
to Ace:
hmmm… where did u get your info that whole HCI team are from DSA? and (= is partially right (for his first part haha). 1 yr plus can make a huge difference too!
to (=:
u didnt know HCI beat yishun town at youth cup but lost to punggol, who in turn lost to St Hildas?
@ACE: ok i’m not sure bout the BP b boys team members, but i can assure you that not all of the HCI current sec 4 batch are through DSA. besides where did you obtain your information…
Moreover, when they were in Sec 2, i think only the setter has a good background in volleyball, and then the no. “5” twisted his finger and out for that period. so like left with 6 players to play and the outside spiker had to play as the middle blocker in the short notice.
Check where you get your information from man. Unless you got a credible guy in HC whose in the VB team, please double check
to Ace :
Sec 2.. they got like around 1yr + to train up -.-
to =) :
I dont tink they will get into top 4 . There r many teams tat can bring them down . Dunman , St hildas , Xinmin , Punggol , YishunTown . Those teams tat make to Top 4 for youth cup during the holidays .
Really Ace? Then i think they’ll prove t you that they’ll be in Nat’s Top 4. Mark my words ^^
as for HCI, it is true that their whole team are DSA. And just for your info, HCI current sec 4 batch did not make it to West zone top 4 when they were sec 2, despite all DSA. What can you say? lol
vballer, u r wrong. BP current b boys only has 1 dsa who is sec 4 this year. The rest are all trained from scratch in sec 1. Their current sec 3 has 3 DSA but all not in main team.
grp 2:
hillgrove
hwa chong
hua yi

(this is from my friend’s fixture)
group 2:

North Zone B boys not so clear cut too…..Punggol and Xinmin look in good shape….Yishun Town still have some standard, though it’s a far cry from last year. Only the 4th position is up for grabs….between Anderson, Sembawang and CCH Yishun i suppose
