CCAB, Thursday, March 25, 2010 - Presbyterian High kept their hopes of qualifying for the semi-finals alive after beating St. Hilda's Secondary 2-1 (21-25, 25-21, 25-14) in a Group X quarter-final match in the National B Division Girls Volleyball Championship.
St. Hilda's will play Cedar Girls' Secondary on Monday, March 29 at 11.30am. It will be a crucial match for both teams as Cedar Girls' need to notch a win after falling to Xinmin Secondary earlier. St. Hilda's, the East Zone champions, will also need a decisive win in order to have any chance of qualifying for the semi-finals.
Presbyterian High will face an uphill battle against North Zone champions Xinmin Secondary at 2.20pm. Presbyterian High, who have one win and one loss from two games played will need to beat Xinmin decisively in order to qualify, especially if Cedar wins their match against St. Hilda's.
Both matches will be held at Presbyterian High.
