The National Basketball League tipped off at the beginning of this month, and in Division One, three of the seven rounds have already been played.

Home United are the only unbeaten team with three wins, one of them an 85-58 trouncing of SAFSA, the team which beat them to the title last season. Chong Ghee have lost all their matches.

The teams will face each other once in this eight-team league, and the top four will advance to the semi-final stage.

It promises to be an exciting season ahead, after last year’s final when SAFSA shocked favourites Home United 64-63 with the winning shot coming from a buzzer-beating heave from near half-court. Eng Tat Hornets were third and Tong Whye fourth.

In Division Two, Tagawa are the only team without a loss, while Tanjong Pagar and Dehaus are winless with three straight defeats.
