Punggol, Sunday, July 11, 2010 — Aldrich Lim was the fastest runner in his category this morning when he won the TRI-Run 10km men’s open in 34 minutes 42 seconds.
Vivian Tang was the fastest woman runner when she finished her 10km race in 38:16.
More than 2,000 runners, including 20 sponsored runners from the Boys’ Town and 10 runners with physical disabilities, took part in the Timex TRI-Run 2010 this morning across four race categories – Individual 21km, Individual 10km, Individual 5km and 21km Team Relay.
Among the disabled athletes who took part were Md Firdaus, the first Singaporean to gain entry to the Beijing 2008 Paralympics, and Adam Kamis, a silver medallist at the 5th ASEAN Para Games in 2008.
